Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Thanks!! My daughter is on spring break from college that week and thinks she is taking a road trip down there!!! :) I think she just wants to check out the

I can't wait for him to come home!! Good luck to Bryan on his test hope he does well!!! Jason's orders have changed he will be going to Calif instead of PA

I just heard from my son is done with school. He takes his PFM class on Mon> and then graduates on Wed. Does anybody know if there is a graduation ceremony?? How long after grad does it take before they get leave?? He hadn't heard yet when he can come home. I am excited now!! Seems like BC was just yesterday for me!!! :)

Does anyone know if after my son gets done with A school will he have to go back to Meridian after leave?? Or will he just leave from home to his next assignment??

I am in a suburb of Chicago no where near Pa. I am happy cuz he will be kinda close to home. He has only been out of BC short time so I am still not ready to let go completely for a deployment!!! :) There is so much stuff thta goes on that we don't know about its amazing isn't it??? Read the other day on here, that a sailor went overboard, guess he is ok tho!! Thank God for N4moms huh???

heard relations between town and base aren't so good guess something happen
thats why saliors are not allowed overnite liberty.. To bad some had to ruin it for
the others!!! Mine got verbal orders fpr Penn. guess he is ok with it for now. I know i am!!! :)

Susann just a word I got from my other Navy moms with experiece at Meridian
Cabbies make the kids wait forever fo pick them up. Make sure they call at least 45 minutes before they are ready to go back to base, so they are not late!!

My son wanted to be an MAA but his eyes are bad so he chose an SK. He is FTS reserve so he is unsure where he will being going after A school. He loves
the computer so he will be content with an SK also! He is breezing thru A school. Think he just wants to get out of Meridian. BORING!! according to him!
HI sounds like a great place to be.
