OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good evening to all.

Anyone live near Joplin?  My son arrive to BC on 01/05.  I did receive the "Im OK call" that evening.  When will I receive his box?  His address?

Hi Becky!    How long has your SR been in the Navy?  Can you give me any pointers?  I have friends in Granby.  Inbox me sometime if you would like to visit.
We live 30 miles to the northwest of Springfield.  Our daughter left for bootcamp 7/12/11 for bootcamp.  Graduation is 9/9/11.  Is there anyone else that lives in the Springfield area with a child nearing graduation?  I know the day my daughter shuttled to KC airport there were 2 other young men there at the recruiting office leaving at the same time.
