Morning, hope all of you had a Great Thanksgiving. Today it feels like Thanksgiving, brrrr cold. Thank goodness for fuzzy slippers and robes!

Rebecca, sounds good to me. I'm in Donelson and I know there are others near by. Maybe a family day the day of the Army Navy Game?

Hey are there any Mom's in the Nashville area who would like to plan a holiday get together? We could meet at a restaurant have lunch and just visit.

I live in Sevierville. If you ever come to Sevierville look me up. My son has been in Navy for 2 1/2 years, currently stationed in Guam. He is Master at Arms, also Raven. I remember going to Great Lakes for my son's graduation. I hope you will get to go to your daughter's graduation. Be sure to bundle up. It is really really cold and windy. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hi!
Just an update, my daughter left Knoxville yesterday and arrived in Great Lakes IL around 5:30. I received her "I am here and I'm ok" phone call last night around 8:30....after that I cried like a baby, that was harder than telling her good bye at the airport. I am doing ok today....just feeling sort of numb and empty..really hard to explain. Good luck to everyone that has a loved one leaving you are in my prayers :)

Welcome Rebecca,
I live in Cookeville Tn, 80 miles east of Nashville. My son was in boot camp last year and PIR on Jan. 2, 2009. Currently he is serving on a ship in Japan.

Just found this sight. My son is in boot camp and will graduate on 12/30. I live in the Nashville area. Any one else here from the Middle Tennessee area?
