Thank you all soooo much for the prayers and words of encouragement. It is tough to hear him going through all this without being able to just give him a hug and pray with him.

Hello ladies. I am sorry it has been so long since I have been on here. I do watch it though, just don't comment very often. However, I do need some large number of prayers for my sailor. He is having a rough time right now and has made up his min...

Profile Information

About me:
I am a mother of 3 with my sailor being the oldest. I have been married to a wonderful man for 18 years and we live in Omaha. This journey that my sailor has started on over a year ago, has been a blessing and a curse. He has definitely had to do some growing up and continues to learn daily what it means to be a man. I pray for him daily.

Hugs Bridgett..I know this must be very difficult,,,I will pray that you sailor will listen to God and his prompting and what God has for him..I pray the Holy spirit would nudge him to stop and ask "God what should I do?? Not my will but yours." and Yeild to what He has to tell him. In Jesus Mighty and powerful Name

Hugs~

Bridgett, nice to know another Groton mom . My son will be in CT for another two years. He would like to go somewhere warm after that. He lives in New London, we are going to visit him in the fall. His twin is now thinking of joining after he graduates from college in May. His brothers are going to visit him on the 13th and will be bringing his dog back for us to take care of. take care Tanya

Hey Bridgett, thanks for the Nebraska invite - you never know when I may take you up on that offer! My husband travels to Colorado a lot for work, maybe I could take a day or two in NE before heading out to Denver ;)
I am so glad you called last night - it was a wonderful end to a blah day.
I was telling another friend (we have been meeting every Tuesday night for several years just to PRAY) about your son David. There are more people praying for your son - and you - than you will ever know!!
I am off to start scrapbooking some of Scott's visit home. It helps me to stay in the moment a little longer.
Blessings to you and your whole family!

Bridgett, that is what we, as Christians, are called to do - LIFT EACH OTHER UP! Share our burdens, laugh with each and cry with each other.
Please feel free to contact me ANYTIME you want to share a concern, prayer request, or praise report.
I have found such wonderful Christian moms and dads on this website. The kind of folks you feel like you have known FOREVER!!
Can you send me your address and phone number?

In His Service,

Marlene
