My son is due to graduate on 10/6/17 and I haven't heard from him n 2wks and I'm nervous as all get out. I thought we was to get a call to let us know if they was to graduate or not. I'm worried.

Cat Cloud - No news is good news as the common saying goes around here. If your recruit has indicated that they have passed all of their physical requirements and there weren't any other indications of problems then you are probably just waiting to find out about battle stations. The best place to check on that is in your PIR group.
And yes, it is normal to not hear anything until right before PIR!
Depending on what division number your recruit is in the TG, will most likely dictate when BS take place. Those activities are not posted on open forums here because they are considered ship movements. My son's PIR was in Aug. I received a phone call from him on the 3rd Saturday after he left for GL, and the 6th Saturday and then his final call was very near PIR.
Just a tidbit - they don't really know we identify that final call as their "I'm a sailor" call, they just get to call after BS. So don't expect to hear those exact words when they do call. The final call will be after they have been up for a long time so they will be very tired.
Again, it is best for you to ask this in your PIR group, Ellen can give you direction there.
