how small our world is! We lived in Vallejo as well - our daughter was born there. We lived there from 88 - 92 Hubby was an FC and had instructor duty there - our son is now an FC...

I understand A 33 is alive and well...hopefully remodeled since we lived there!!! LOL

Japan is so far away but ...we may not complain if our son goes there :-D we will DEFINITELY go visit him. We have friends that retired from the Navy and stayed there.

Your hubby almost looks familiar to me...were you stationed at Mare Island? I'm sure we would not know him from the blue ridge although we probably passes each other many times at the NEX,commissary or A33!!

Hey Emily, seen in the japan mom room that your daughter was born in yokosuka as well.

We were stationed in Yokosuka with the USS Reeves during the same time. Our son was born at USNH in 1987. He is now a sailor and is at his C school ...hoping for orders to Japan!

Thats awesome! My appaloosa horses bloodlines go to lots of horses from the King Ranch, not just King -but many of the Hall of Famers were from the King ranch! What history you are around! That is exciting!
