Were coming from California...our reservations are for the Gurnee Hotel. I thought you had stayed there already. But either way I am looking for some input. Thanks

Hi, I was looking over the comment on where to stay...I too have a reservation at La Quinta, for March PIR. I just wanted to see what you thought of the place and if it was really far of a drive? Thanks

Hi, Jean!  Listen, if your last name is the same as your SR's, you will need to delete your post today that gives the last name.  A big no no on Navy sites...for military security and also for the RDCs to see!    Sorry!  Just click the "X" in your post box and it should go away. You can retype it first, without your name, so the other info stays.  If his last name happens to be different from yours, then there is no problem!  Thanks!

we had a phone call three weeks ago-that was only a couple of min. His dad got to talk to him . We have been writing to him on shifts .. we each picked a day and send a letter - with Gma and sister we manage to send a letter  or two a day for him..  My kids at school are writing support letters for Valentines day - but I hope that we will hear from him soon - I would love to hear his voice and know he is ok :)
