Hi, all. It was good to see the yearbook.

Congratulations to your son, Hisbeloved! Great news.

I know how you feel, TxtLadyJane. Nuke school seems to be forever. So glsad you got a visit over Memorial Day. We drove up to see our sailor and her  sister, but just for one night. She did get permission to come home for Easter, though - that was wonderful She graduates A school on te 24th so we will drive to Chatleston then and bring her home for 10 days!

I placed an order for the graduation DVD PIR 3/11/11, Ship 12/Div 100.  During the ceremony, which was awesome from what little I saw, a Navy official called me from the bleachers because my 21 year old niece fainted in the bathroom.  So of course, I missed main parts of the ceremony.  Well, the DVD is the closest that I will ever come to being at my son's ceremony again so...bring it on.  I can't wait to watch it!!!

Ship 12 Div 100. Just received my son's Keel Yearbook in the mail. WOW I really wasn't expecting it but was pleasantly surprised. I found my son in many photo shot and was quite pleased with the book. I hope other enjoy it as much as I do.

We received the Keelbook and I am thankful to see the Division pictures.  I realize that the front of the book is probably the same as other graduating Divisions so they most likely are generic pictures... nevertheless, I was thrilled to see our Division in print and be able to finally put faces to the names.  Hope all is going well for everyone.

Ship 12 Div 092 we received our Keel book and we found our grandson in at least 5 pictures-there was a picture of his graduation in his blue uniform also

While in bootcamp they order their graduation pictures and you can order the keel yearbook then as well.

What is a Keel Yearbook and where do you get one from?

Just received my son's keel book and I must agree with GBsMom, I was also kind of disappointed.  My son's division graduated in their Navy Blue uniforms yet the book has a graduating class in the white uniforms.  The only pictures that belonged to his division was their single graduation pictures.  Kind of disappointing.
