Wahoo! Congratulations to your son and his division. I'm sure that's a burden off your shoulders. Have you gotten the call yet? What a wonderful day!

Yes I have seen the videos and I think my daughter will do well in BS. We are planning to attend Sarge's meet and greet on the 15th. Still trying to decide if we drive on base or take a shuttle, but I've already printed our gate pass just in case.

Happy to meet you! I haven't been this nervous since I don't know when! I have literally had my phone by my side 24/7 since she left.

We're in Colorado. Are you flying or driving to PIR? We are driving and picking up my oldest daughter in St Louis along the way. We're staying at the Holiday Inn in Libertyville.

LOL  Yep...Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a cult classic around our house.  The boys ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!  We went to see it during Artown at the movies in the park just a couple weeks ago.  It was so fun to watch it together with our community.

Hope you're enjoying the weekend...we made it through formal senior photos yesterday...and now it's the countdown to school starting.  Oh man is there a way I can slow down time!  I can't believe that a month has already gone by.  11 more to go!

Too funny the phone. I know I will be the same way when Jonathan leaves. We've been working with the same recruiter. Really nice guy and very helpful. My other son said he reminds him of Ferris Bueller. LOL The recruiter has always been straightforward and I think he's already preparing Jonathan for his future.

Keep your hands on that phone! I've been having trouble with the microphone on my phone and can only use Bluetooth. It's a pain to use. I'm DEFINITELY going to have to get a replacement by the time Jonathan leaves so I don't go insane!
