Hi Chris!
I did find it....guess I just wasn't looking in the right place. I sent you an email. Hang in there. Your family and Miles are all in my prayers.

I have a lot of info. I'll send you about stuff to send when he is deployed and ideas for then too. Look on the REI website (www.rei.com) for things for neat Christmas presents. I got Patrick a lot of stuff from there for when he was in Iraq. It's good stuff and not outrageously priced. Where do you fly from? Look on the different websites for the different airlines-there are reduced fares to San Diego to go to 29 Palms and you can also get reduced fares there thru the military. I'll find out more for you on that.

Peace to you, along with many many prayers.
Millye

Please feel free to look me up. You have my 100% support. This a great site for support. The moms here have helped me tremendously and I hope I have done the same for another mom. I still have my tears but I know now that I am not alone. My son Mikey is in Afghanistan in an undisclosed area right now. He is a medical corpsman also with his marine unit. I am so very much proud of him, as I know you must be of your son. I can't tell you much I want the time to fly so he can be back home safe and sound. We have to do this one day at a time. Tell your son thank you for me and my husband. And thank you for bringing up such a wonderful man. I will keep your son in my thoughts and prayers.

Miles' Mom-
I am glad to add you on as a friend. Please do the same for me. Being a corpsman's mom has definitely been a journey for my husband and myself. It has brought us closer to each other and to God. I see that your son is currently in 29 Palms and is scheduled to deploy in January. What unit is he serving with? Where is he deploying to? Where is his homebase? If you can give me that info., I can hopefully help you to get connected to some of the Marine moms from there. Those ladies have been my "bestest" friends for the past 5 years and will forever be so. They've been with me 24/7 and really understand what I feel. They truly accepted me into their group and their hearts and I am forever grateful. I hope for you to find this same type of alliance and support. Please write and tell me more about Miles. Where do you live- where is Flovilla? We've traveled thru Georgia several times back and forth from Camp Lejeune, NC to TX and really love the country there. Will Miles get to come home for Christmas? Sure do hope so. Take care of yourself and stay in touch. (((Hugs))) coming your way from another corpsman's mom, Millye
