Hi
My son's name is Max and I am Jane. I am so happy that he met someone that he is going to A school with. The last long phone call went to his girl friend. We try and update each other on the calls but don't always get the details. So all I heard was that he had a couple of good friends and didn't get any names. I am looking forward to seeing him at the graduation. Are you going to be there? We are staying at the Spring Hill Suites. Sounds like alot of people are.
MaryK-my son asked me if I was talking to a mom from MN. I bet its your son, Funny I only know his first name and Trev only knew his last. I thought this was funny cause my son isnt usually interested in who I talk too. LOL. I got a letter today and he sounded good, mostly to his Dad who is Navy Vet, talking times for making bunk and that kind of stuff. He does sound home sick especially about his dog. Just wanted to let you know now our boys will probably compare notes. Lisa<>/p>
OMG! I , too, am waiting to put on that bumper sticker til PIR!
Maryk, I asked my son about letters he said they would get to mail their letters on sunday. He was hoping to start receiving mail this week. My son's letters probably wont be long, he is not much to write, or even talk. I had a hard time keeping him on the phone for the whole time he was allowed. I will be looking for my letter about Thurs. or Friday. Cant wait, maybe he will surprise me and write more info. than I think he will. We'll have to keep sharing info. Thanks for being here.
Hi Maryk-My son is also planning on A-school in Pensicola. From what I have read we will see them on Saturday if we go to the airport and wait with them. Of course any of this could change at anytime. I just like assuming whats going to happen but will roll with it where ever it takes us. I am still waiting for a call or letter. I know my son hates to write. He is very independent and probably thinks I am sending way to many letters. LOL I gave his address out to all his friends and people at church. I hope he gets more mail than he can handle, then maybe he'll miss us. He was so excited for this new adventure in his life. I am excited for him as well. Maybe our sons will end up together thru A school. that would be good.
Thats awesome, I am glad to hear that I have it right. Finally. Its exciting and my family thinks I'm nuts. I have done good, no crying, of course its only the first week, but I support what he is doing so I think all is well, we moms have to stick together.
