OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We are going by train I think.. I've never taken one and this is a long one - - but from where I live a flight is just too expensive (there are three of us - myself, my husband, and my 14 year old daughter).  I think we will rent a car from Union Station but I still plan on taking a shuttle from The Navy Lodge to the PIR, that's what most suggest (to avoid delays in line to get into the gate).

Nope.. only the form letter - - no personal letter yet (also hoping for today!).  Wow.. so you already know who her bunk mate is and everything, huh?  That's impressive!  Oh no, not good to hear they were being held from privileges ... gotta be frustrating for those who are problably killing themselves to do right and have others pull them down, BUT that's what being a team is about and that's what they are there to learn.  I'm holding up okay - - just missing my daughter (Hannah) and driving myself nuts with travel decisions for Feb 8th!  Glad I found you here!  :)  Hope you are holding up as well!
