Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Phone Call Today...... Happy Mom right now!!!! ::))

Hello, everyone....Received a phone from are code (847), my heart dropped to my feet, i was scared, everything ran thru my mind... OMG what happened did he fail something did he get hurt... what happened..... Well is was a surprise none of that happened..He was just able to call home.. Phewwww what relief to hear that.. Was a wonderful phone call got to three way his grand-mom and talk to her she was really happy to hear his voice...many exams passed all still waiting for the result of…

JUST RECEIVED MY FIRST REALY PHONE CALL!!!!

Good morning all, i just received my first real phone call from my SR.. He said he passed his swimming exam....he said the food is not bad.. the eggs are horrible..... lol...he has div 221 which are the girls with his div 222..... they are the first group to receive there dog tags... they told them to very proud of themselves because they did an excellent job... SO SUPER EXCITED......my first real phone call... he said it is really hard... some people passed out from the work out.... sad…

Picked Up "The Box"

I was just wondering if anyone could answer my question. My son sent home his drivers license. Is there a reason why he did not keep it with him or do they have to send it home with their belongings. Just wondering..... He also sent home is Religious medallion. Why?

My Son's Box Came

My sons box came today, but no one was home to sign for it. So I called Fedex and told them I will be there tomorrow to pick it up myself...I am so excited that his box came.. Now I have to wait for the Form letter. If I am correct his PIR date will be 6/14/13...... 52 days and counting...... I miss him so much... He has gone on vacations but i was able to call and talk to him to see if he was ok...but this not being able to call and talk to him is driving me crazy......

How are you doing?  I haven't received any letters from my SR yet.  Checked the mailbox today and was sooooooooo disappointed.  But, he said on Sunday that there was one coming.  So I'll keep checking.
