OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I got a call at 4:00am from my son they were on their way to Texas! He said wake up Mom and I said sorry it's 4:00 am. Warning to all Moms, don't say that because then he said I better let you go. Darn I didn't think fast enough but when we talk again I will let him know he can call me at anytime, anyplace and anywhere. Hope to hear more soon!

When I saw teacher mom I thought darn, there is no spell check on this . That makes sense that your title goes with your job.My daughter graduates with her Masters in Middle School Math and English on friday. She loves middle schoolers and her hubby is a youth Pastor. Your Son looks so happy and he must of found some great friends in the Navy. My Son is so happy and looking forward to school. I'm trying to find out where exactly he will be and when I can bring him his phone and other things. Do you know anything more? We are in ship 12 and division 184.
