It’s the MAA Moms board to be exact. That one has a lot more back-and-forth of info on it that we discussed when our kids were in San Antonio.

Hello HkyNvyMom! Yes we will be here to answer any of your questions the best that we can and walk this MA A - School journey with you. We were all much more active on the MA moms page so you might want to check out that one as well. (I’ll double check that that was the name of the board) My son graduated in February so I’m not sure if much has changed in terms of loosening Covid restrictions. I can tell you one thing right now it’s that their Facebook page is not as active as the BC page. Not sure why but my son’s graduation pictures weren’t posted. Thankfully, everyone had their phones so they took group pictures of each other and they were good enough for me! What’s neat is that if you go back even a few pages you’ll see a lot of information that we discussed as well. I really hope your son moves on to his school quickly and doesn’t have to sit in holding for too long. I can tell you that all of our kids have done a lot of hurry up and waiting but you can’t beat having your communication back! Best wishes to your son!!

Hello all,

It looks like it has been awhile since anyone has posted here.  My kiddo is heading to San Antonio for MA  A school any day (I think...lol).  Is this still an active page?

Hi NewMilmom! So great to see another MA mom! So your son is in San Antonio. That's great that he was able to fly out so quickly! My son waited in Great Lakes for weeks. It's so nice to see progression. I see you're on the MA MOMs as well. :)

Hello,  recognize a name here already - Hi VintageGal!!!

for all others a bit about me:  my new Sailor is sitting in holding pattern in San Antonio waiting to start A school.  We are praying that after the winter break he can start his actual classes & keep moving forward...but only time will tell.

We have planned for him to fly home for part of the base shut down & pray that is still a go when the  time comes.  As in RTC Momma keeps reminding herself & others,

"No News is Good News"....

Hello all, I just joined the group as my sailor arrived in San Antonio last week. I do see a familiar name, hello Vintage! LOL

Hi :) has anyone heard word from their Sailors of what it might look like in terms of holidays and leave out of San Antonio? My son graduates BC in a few weeks - he had to go back to ROM because someone else tested positive that was put in their division. I was just thinking about Christmas and whether or not we could go there or he would come home or if they’re keeping them in a bubble... any news would be appreciated:)
