ok..i've got to get off this website and get to work!  I could probably stay on it all day.  I found these cute litte "survey" letters that you can print out and mail to your recruit with questions for them to answer.  It looked cute, easy and funny..I printed one out, but I can't find the link again to tell you where they are!  They're supposed to help them with letter writing (which I'm sure my son will need!)  So if you can find them they're pretty interesting.  I also booked our families flights out through southwest this a.m.  They allow you to make any changes you may need with no penalties or restrictions which is awesome and they were very cheap!

I've been reading your comments for several days now.  I am happy you got your letter.  I just got mine yesterday too!  It made me so happy.  I'd been worried sick until I did.  My son is in Ship 11 Division 284.  I'm having trouble finding my way around things here, but have been reading sporadically around until I finally got a ship and division and PIR date yesterday. (Funny...I didn't even know what PIR meant a week ago! lol).  So September 1st right?  Well, anyway, I hope to find you again on this website!

Does your Username contain your last name?  If so, you may want to change it AND your web address (URL) above so they do not include your last name to keep everyone
safer.  See http://www.navyformoms.com/group/newmomsstophere/forum/topics/if-your-username-contains-your to tell you how to do BOTH.  Blessings to you and yours.
