DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi there! This is LynB - the other old lady in PIR 9/10/10 :-) I came to look at your profile, saw the waterfall photo and thought...I think I've been there. So I googled Monterey TN and sure enough!!! My son went to Great Lakes from Cookeville TN - he's lived there the last 5 years and graduated from TN Tech. If your son has been in the recruiting office in Cookeville anytime in the last several months I bet our kids know each other already since my son has been working in that recruiting office since about Jan/Feb 2010. My daughter is at school at East TN State right now and I went to school in Nashville. Small world!

I just wanted to say hi. I just joined Navy for Mom's yesterday, although I've been looking on the website since my son left in July. I see our son's are in the same division. I also look forward to his letter's and I have had only two phone call's from him. This first one I missed!! But I was able to speak to him for about 25 minutes yesterday. It was wonderful to hear his voice. He sounded great, and he also said boot camp wasn't so bad. We can't wait to see him. I have enjoyed reading all the comments on the Navy for Mom's website. It seems that alot of mom's and wives are just as confused as I am!!
