Hi There, Just heard from Julie, (Cory's Mom) that you may be organizing a coffee get together a Coco's. I'm a really big fan of Molly's Adopt a Sailor group, and know we have some very large groups coming up to adopt. I'm wondering if it would be ok, to do two-fold. Catch up with all the Moms, and have a packing party for our "Adopted" Troops. What do you think? Let me know! Thanks, Staci

DOOBY, here is some information for your collection! We stayed at the Ramada; really nice hotel, rooms were recentlly renovated; they held a Meet & Greet there, gave out free water bottles, had a great Sun. brunch. For PIR-Get There Early! Every car is stopped! Half will be searched! They will make you exit your vehicle & open every compartment! If your Sailor is an Award Winner you will be taken upstairs to wait & you will be escorted to VIP seating. It's nice, but there is a great chance you will not be in front of their division. Look for them standing on the floor in front of their Division number before graduation. Your firs oppertunity to see them up close! Take plenty of kleenex! After the ceremony all the award winner families will be escorted out to the hallway to meet up with your Sailor to go meet the Commander Chief. Be prepared for ONLY 3 family members to get to go (Grandma had to go sit outside!) Remember, no outside pictures!!

Dooby: So glad I got a chance to meet you yesterday. Thanks for being there....I'm so glad you were sitting right next to me. Don't know why the tears start at the drop of a hat. I called Cory when I left MiMi's and we talked until I got home. He's got orders....of course, I don't know to where. He thinks he'll be shipping out around Nov. 4th. The date is not set in stone, just an approximate. I won't know until I get the "We're on the move, mom." call!
