Glad to hear your eyes are doing better, make sure you take those breaks and give yourself time to heal. The knee is doing ok, the weekend in GL was a little rough on it. No PT! PIR left me speechless. What a beautiful ceremony. Takes your breath away. Yes, we had him for the whole weekend but it went way too fast. He hasn't started school yet. I think he said he starts on Aug. 16. He's getting settled into his ship and luckily 2 of his roommates were friends of his from his division. Thanks for keeping me updated and I hope you get plenty of time with your son at Christmas!!!

Here's to a speedy recovery! I can't believe that just 1 week after surgery I'm doing so well. Stitches come out on Monday and that will make a big difference. Take care of yourself!

Thanks for asking, the knee is doing great. Got the "I'm a Sailor" call today, very exciting. We talked for 30 minutes. He sounded so grown up. Can't believe that's the same boy I sent to BC on June 7th! Can't wait for PIR next Friday!
