Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I am a mom of two. My son has been in the Navy for 3 years and my daughter leaves Feb. 3rd for BC. He did great...I am a little worried about her but I am hoping that she will be fine and go through it without any problems.

Well, she left today for BC....I got the call about an hour ago....she seemed okay but scared! I am sure she will do great...I just hope I will. She said I wouldn't hear from her for about 3 more weeks....now the waiting game begins....

Hi Amy sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I know Kayla's party will turn out to be everything you wanted it to be, either way you will have a wonderful time and so many memories to look back on. I too thought my house was to small to have all those people over but I thought well whatever thats what Grant wants so lets go for it and I am so thankful I did it turned out great! Keep me posted and let me know how you are doing. Tell Kayla thank you for her courage and dedication and to keep her head up and be proud! It will be tough but she is strong. God Bless you and your family the coming days will be heard but we all will survive. I can't wait to see my sailor!!!!

Hi Amy I'm glad I could help. We had a great time with our son we had it at home because that's really what he wanted we had family and friends including his dad and step mom over we cooked out, played wii and had a great time visiting with everyone. I know your party will turn out great no matter what you do, Kayla will enjoy her time with family and friends. Tell Kayla thank you for her courage and dedication, I know you are proud of her. My son left on monday and I have so many mixed emotions I can be laughing one minute and crying the next, I know it will get better I received my I'm here call last night and it was hard now I just can't wait to get his next call. I will keep you in our prayers, talk to you soon. Trenda

Hi Kayla's mom, for my son's going away party I created a photo card on walgreens web site I used the post card and chose pictures off line of a navel ship with the american flag and sailors saluting, aircraft carrier and navel planes and I wrote the invitation on back. I think they turned out great everyone at the store raved about how good they looked and I printed mine in one hour and picked them up. Hope this helps my son leaves for BC on monday, keep us in your prayers... Good luck with your party let me know if I can help!
