OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

You may want to make changes 3 and 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile).

Hi and Welcome.

We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site.  You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below.  It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together.

Looking forward to hearing from you in one of our groups!

Be sure and let me know if you have any questions! MEET AND GREETS are scheduled :)

PS.  Feel free to “cruise” my page and see if there are any other groups that interest you. One of my passions is supporting our deployed troops.  Check out http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and see if it is a group you may like to join.

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones); I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) beginning with OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile); you may want to make changes 3 and 4. What is your future Sailor's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
