Hi Dee, Happy Friday!!
Sorry we didn't get to meet you at the "Meet and Greet". We decided to take a nap, and ended up sleeping through it... Wasn't the graduation ceremonie awesome!?! Our son is staying in Chicago for A School for 4 weeks, gets to come home for 2 weeks, and then he's off to Japan!! And I thought Chicago was far away!!!
Anyways, I hope you had a wonderful visit with your son... Congrats Navy Mom!!!! ~ Virginia
HI Dee!
I just got off the phone with my son... He sounded really tired, but happy! He said that everyone from both division passed Battle Stations!!! I am just soooo excited about seeing him on Friday that I can't concentrate on anything else... lol
We will be arriving in Chicago Thursday morning, and will be staying at the Navy Lodge… We’re planning to go to the Meet & Greet at the Ramada Inn; will you be there? I would really like to meet you in person! :)
Hope you hear back from you soon...
Hugs,
Virginia
Yay!!! I'm sooo happy that you heard from him... =D
They're going into week 4 already... Can you believe it!?!
They've come this far, I'm sure they are going to do just fine!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more letter this week...
Hang in there!
Hugs,
Virginia
I know what you mean... The waiting without any news is the hardest part!!
I finally received some letters from my son this week. There were 3 letters, each writen about a week apart from eachother... The first one he sounded like he might quit; the second one he just sounded homesick; and the third one he said that he was going to stick it out!! I think when boot camp is done, he is going to be happy he stuck with it, are realize that it really wasn't that bad!! lol
I hope you've received some news from you son too, and that he is doing well!!
Talk to you soon...
Hugs,
Virginia
