Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey! Thanks for the info! I appreciate all insight to nuke school that you can provide. I heard from Jarrod this morning about 6:30. He called from the airport. It will be good to have him closer to home now. Maybe we will get a temp address and news on Thanksgiving weekend soon. Love your new picture!

Hi Heather. Jarrod told us that he THINKS they have liberty but can only go up to 75 miles from base. I'm not sure where he got this info but I hope it is true. I guess we'll have to wait until they get there to get to find out for sure. Hope your time with Ben has been wonderful!

My name is Heather and I am 24 years old. My husband is currently going though T-Track and will soon class up for Power School at Nuke School. I have to say I am pretty impressed with my sailor. =) Even though everything he tells me goes over my head, I am very proud to be a wife of a Nuke.
