OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey Pauline!  Could you make a packing party at my house either 5/21 or 22?  Just the post on MA Navy Moms for more info.  Would love to meet you IRL.

Hey Pauline, how are you doing? Just wanted to check in and find out if you are going to be able to come and help at the packing party on Nov. 6th. It will start at 1PM and is going to be at Lesli's in Wellesley. We thought that people could bring a snack to share while we work. We have wrapping paper and boxes, all we need are the gifts and snack items to put in in the boxes.
Let me know if you can make it. I'd love to meet you!

I've been trying to think of a fund-raising event for MA Navy Moms which would give us some money to purchase those items that are requested but are too expensive for an average Moms like us to go out and buy a large number of. I'm thinking especially of those 'Dr. Scholl's Jellin' thingies' for inside their boots. Got any good ideas? Events can be costly to put on, but there is always the potential of gaining more contacts.

Hey, I just thought we need to find someone to go after the Celtics and Bruins... I know all these pro teams have their own specific charities, but they are also supportive of the troops, so why not Molly's Adopt a Sailor? Especially with the clout we have being a finalist in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge for $50K.
Have you joined that group yet? It is a very active group. You might want to check it out, you can always quit if it doesn't appeal to you.

I accepted you as a friend so that you can leave a comment for me when you wish. I am currently working on the Patriots so if you want to go after the Red Sox, you go girl! It is difficult to get a real live person who can do something for you at the Patriots Admin. offices on the phone. I'm planning my approach for tomorrow. Someone who knows told me that Mr. Kraft is there every day and he does receive visitors (we'll see). I'm doing some research on line to get complete names of his sons who run the organization. If you already have a contact, let me know right away so I can defer to you -- a prior relationship is always going to beat a cold call. I'll let you know what I have put together to present. Take care, Donna
