Hi Everyone & Happy Mothers Day to you all!
Sorry it's been so long. seems like i've missed a lot since i last posted. Tax season of course is done and over with, but i do work year round for those that straggle in late or have been deployed and the likes. so still staying busy, just not as busy.
My son is doing well, though i think he misses being out in California. He'll be going back there in Aug for his 2 week training, and he's excited. My hubby is doing well, just putting along. I got him a magic jack, so it makes getting ahold of him when i need to a lot more easier. My oldest daughter is almost done with this semester at college and i can't believe she'll have finished her first year. where does the time go? And my youngest is anxious to finish out 6th grade as well.
I'm having surgery on my foot tomorrow. i have plantar fasciitis that i've been dealing with for a couple of years now. it's gotten to the point where the cortizone shots no longer help, so going the surgery route. so i'll have the next week off from work and i'm kinda looking forward to it.
This summer i'm heading home to Maine. I'm in need of a good long vacation and i'm really looking forward to going. My girls are coming with me. Once oldest daughter finishes the semester on the June 16th, we are heading out on the 18th. I'll have to fly her back around july 7, so she can get ready for school to start again on july 11th. and the youngest and i will continue to stay up there for another couple of weeks.
Before i end this...Auxlady, i was really sad to read about Brian, but happy to hear the people in your community are pulling together in your time of need. I will continue to pray for him and your family.
Have a great day everyone! :)
Does anyone know how Brian is doing?
Hi Ladies!!! I've been missing you all. I thought when I got a blackberry I'd be able to post from my phone, but to alas, it's not working that way.
I had to come back and post once I saw the email from Aux Lady asking for prayer. I hope every one is well. We are pressing our way through. Been a tough few months but it will all work out in the end.
Wel N4M's...It's Maine Update Time for those of you with roots here in New England...03/27 was a very mouth watering kind of Sunday...Maine Maple Sunday hit every farm and sugaring shack from Kittery up to Downeast and it was great.Hot maple syrup ,slowly poured over a cone filled with shaved ice, Pancakes and waffles galore dripping with syrup and smoked bacon frying in a big old black seasoned pan, long lines, lots of fresh coffee and getting to meet your neighbor, who you ain't seen since October...Sun came out but the wind was wicked cold, cold enought to freeze...well you get the idea I'm sure.
Went to the car wash and got a surprise, I am driving a red van,,,and all this time I thought it was brown, grey, white and a shade of bronze..
The govenor of this state does some real weird things that he claims "distracts" from the jobs in the state house up there in Augusta...They had a beautiful mural, oil canvas 45 x 20 , that showed the developmental process of the workmans place in Maine...Govenor DumbAss had the mural removed and placed in a "secure facility"...The union leaders here i the state are not very happy Gov D.A for taking it down, because it showed how the unions were so positive to the labor market...I hope Gov DA doesn't want his picture to go up in empty space...Riot could be result...
The Bruins won the last game 2-1 and the Red Sox are gearing up to head to Texas for opener there...on Friday.
Local baseball team SeaDogs at Hadlock Field( with miniture Green Monster) will begin another season on April 10...Where I work in Portland has some upper elevationgreat views of the stadium and there is one corner that still has snow on it...
Spring will be a bit busy for the vets as the tick season is scedualed to begin sooner not later...
Lobster boats still in the water and hauling traps ...Glad I don't got to make a living doing that ...but I do love to partake in the edible feast that those creepers provide...Yup, lobster races this year!!
Well here on the home front husband did the vac and dust routine and the bathrooms...boys did these chores but since they are out and about we shall continue their efforts...
Sad news...lost a wheel cover from the van :(i have no idea why it took off, maybe it didn't like the car wash)...that part was plastic, I can get another but it's the vision that I am driving around with only 3 wheel covers...
So , that's it from this N4M to all you out there with ...and if you see a plastic wheel cover rolling down the highway, don't run over it..it might be mine...remember...

Hey N4M's... AuxLady sent me word that bank acct set up for her son and family...but her cell phone battery bit the dust...lol..just another tweek to deal with...she has lots of local contacts stepping up to do the leg work for her but we need to make sure she sets up HER PT APPT'S for her goal to get motion and mobility then she will have more reason to head south to see Brian...Calling all Hands..Step it up to help her focus to Motion and Mobility...Use all our powers that be to get her moving , one day at a time, heading down to Georgia..
Special Shout-Out for N4M's Husbands to step up and help too.. need the men to help the men in Brians life...yah, we got the power; lets do this as a FAMILY...
