Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I got my letter!!!!!!!
I got my letter and was I ever excited! My son A.J. is ship 14,div 197 with a graduation date of May 24th........Anyone else out there with the same? I would love to talk to some other moms.........Thx........Mary Anne

I see you have joined the PIR group; know that Divisions 197 and 198 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions. You may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) (clickable link). There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within both groups.

Just knew I would get a letter today from my son, div 194, ship 3----I sooooo need to hear from him!! Has anyone received letters from their son/daughter that are in the same division??? Also, how many guests for sure on RIR 5/17/13??

Debbie, join the group, PIR 05/17/2013 TG 27 - 10 Divisions (187-194, 810 and 927), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Know that Divisions 193 and 194 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. There is a discussion within that group for the two divisions.
Since 194 is the last regular division in that TG, it is very possible that that is a push division and that your recruit had extra P-Hold days waiting for others to finish P-days and fill the division. If that is the case, tomorrow is the first day that that division will have "holiday routine" and will be able to write. (See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit.)
That TG has 10 divisions so each recruit will be able to put the names of 4 guests on the Access List for PIR.
