I sought the LORD, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.

They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus.

—Acts 1:14

In Prayer with all of you.

Put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. -Psalm 130:7

These are the days when we must accept the present of God’s love despite the way we feel. God will come to us in ways we do not understand and whisper to us, “I love you. You are mine. I enjoy you. Nothing will take you away from me. You do not have to earn my love.” Receive His words. Look for his gifts. Open your heart to him. Express your feelings to him and let him comfort you with his unfailing love.

Abba Father, like a scared child, sometimes I just need you to hold me. I feel your presence and know you love me. Thank you, Daddy.”

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6–7

Lord, I commit myself to you today and ask for your ongoing protection and guidance as my roots grow deeper in the soil of your love

Comment by Blondie on June 13, 2017 at 8:51am

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 3:17

Dear God, I want to reflect you and your grace and goodness in all that I think, say, and do

Comment by Blondie on June 7, 2017 at 10:15am

Surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

Psalm 5:12

When we need it most, God will often come to us in ways we do not understand and whisper, “I love you. You are mine. I enjoy you. Nothing will take you away from me. You do not have to earn my love.”

Today, receive his words, look for his gifts, and open your heart to him.

Pray: “Father, thank you for the many ways you reveal your love for me. I am not worthy, but you have made me your own.”
