Sad not to be with daughter on her birthday for the third year in a row. She went out with friends and sent me a picture. They also went to an amusement park. Guess things are not as bad as the news here wants us to believe.
Getting ready to leave next week on a two month mission trip to Malawi. This trip will be like none other with my girl overseas. Leaving contact information with the church made me a little weepy. God is in control of all things.
I will continue to pray for my Navy Mom Sisters and our daughters and sons. Pray that we will be able to have internet connection to contact daughter and keep up with Navy Moms.
Great news GranmaFaye!! Keeping her in my prayers!!
NavyMom2017,
WOW!!!! That's a letter!! So sorry to hear about her pink eye. Hope it's all cleared up by now!!! Bootcamp can be hard enough without having difficulty seeing!!!!!
I received a TWO page letter yesterday ! Her spirits are up despite pink eye in both eyes ! She is fine now, but it's going around. She's is now seeing the end and excited for A School !
Hi Anna,
Glad you had a good getaway. My girl seems to be in good spirits, feeling better. Still asking for prayer and counting the time down. This is exciting. Our sailor ladies are almost realizing another milestone!
Wow sorry I've been MIA for several days. First I was visiting a very dear friend from high school who is a almost two year breast cancer survivor!!! We spent our time catching up on old times and so much other good stuff!!! Then hubby and I traveled to the Rocky Mountain National Park and did not have internet!!!!
JayDee,
Thanks for covering for me and handling the new moms concerns. You always give the best advice!!!
ShawnMom,
How exciting for you having your girl back home!!! I understand your feelings about other moms who don't have that same good fortune and that is so sweet of you to say that. But we share all our good fortunes with each other and I know all the other moms will be happy for you!!!! I agree with bbcregular - tell your girl how proud we all are of her and her willingness to be ready to go whenever needed!!!
Tweetybird,
So sorry you missed your call and I really hope you get another one soon!! PIR must be right around the corner for you!!!
GranmaFaye,
How is everything with your girl??
Badgermom,
I'm also sure that everything will be ok with the moisturizer you sent your girl. If she asked for it, then chances are it's ok to send it. But just in case - - - let us know if there was a problem and we can better advise other new moms!!!!
Hope everyone is doing well and all our sailor girls are doing wonderful also!! Hope to be in better communications now!!!
ShawnMom, So happy for you. Don't feel bad..you know we understand. We rejoice with you. The surprise sounds great. So glad her grandparents got to be surprised.
