Neither I guess. He went from Chicago to G.L. I will ask him the names of his friends. We don't know which school he's go to yet. We were told either in MS or FL. I already RSVP for the Meet and Greet. I'm so excited. DW/Fort Walton

Looking forward to the meet and greet as well. We're also from Florida!! We are in the Clearwater area. I'll message you with the rest of the recruits as we can't post that on here. Have you sent him any questionairres? That's the easiest way to get answers, I put a questionairre in an envelope already addressed to me. Another N4M Jessica posted them on one of the groups I joined. I'm going to attach one here for anyone that would like to send it. Feel free to change any wording as well. Have a great weekend and I'm praying for at least one of us to get a call with updates:) TJs mom

I sent the questionairre this week. Looking forward to what he answers
Hello, I have a daughter in division 147 and she will also be graduation on the 9th. I am excited for that. But I noticed that some of you wrote your child is going to pensacola afterwards. My daughter is also going. What are they going there for? Mine is going for aviation mechanic. We are hoping to make a trip there when she is there to see what it is like. We have our hotel booked for graduation also. We are staying at the American Inn Suites. It will have a shuttle bus to take us to gradution. That sounds like a good idea. Anyone else in 147?
Hello, I have a daughter in division 147. I noticed that some of you said your child is going to pensacola after graduation. What are they going to do there? Mine is going for aviation mechanic. Hope she does well and likes it. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'm excited for graduation seeing them all. I have watched the videos also and they look so amazing and tears to my eyes. We have a hotel at the American Suites Inn with a shuttle to the boot camp. That sounds like a good idea. Anyone else have a child in 147? I'd like to hear from you. Thanks. Laura
Hello, I see the letter down below that your son is going to pensacola. So is my daughter. She is in division 147. She is going in for aviation mechanic. What is your son going in for? I heard that they might be leaving on saturday already. I hope not. We were kind of expecting to spend the day with her. We do have a hotel at the American Inn Suites. I think that is more in Waukegan. They have a shuttle to the base which sounds like a good idea. I got a letter and like she said, they are half way through now. She seems to be enjoying it and said it isn't as bad as she thought it was going to be. Anyone else with a son/daughter in 147? Let me know. Take Care. Laura
Got my longest letter so far today and answers to questionaire I sent him. Sounds like it's a really tough time but he is hanging in there & making the best of it. Seems like living with 80+ other guys is hardest and lack of sleep. Can't wait til 4-9! I already know he has changed alot.
cmday

I'm so glad you sent the questionairre too. It answers alot of our questions so when we do get to talk with them we can just enjoy the conversation. I believe we're all going to be some pretty proud navy moms on 4-9, I saw changes in the first letter home, beginning with his handwriting. My son also told us all he wants is a long shower alone during liberty:) Can't imagine why??:)
My son is also on Ship 03 Division 146. I have been following the discussions and I've noticed the mention of a questionairre. I was wondering what it was and where I might could view it. I'm getting letters from my son, but not a whole lot of information. It sounds like it would be the thing we needed to make our letters and limited phone conversations more informative and productive. Please let me know about this questionairre. It's ironic, but the long shower alone was one of the first things he wrote in his letters he wanted after PIR. His response was 80 dudes and two minutes was getting it. LOL
Hi everyone. I got a letter from David yesterday:) He said "Manning Up" is to say it lightly. He thanked us being so hard on him while growing up. Said that has really helped him the most. Funny how you don't know if you're handling situations the right way when there young..........I felt gratitude as I read his letter. He took a piece of my with him when he left. I don't know where he's going to A school at yet. Pensacola is only 50 miles away. We'll see.
Hi all ship 3/div 146 N4Ms, heard from our son in a letter yesterday, he sounds so good we can't wait to see him. They've been working real hard to come together as a division and battlestations are coming quickly. They 'Flagged" their first exam as a division, but still have a way to go for cohesiveness. I'm hoping for calls tomorrow for some of us. Let's keep each other posted with information on their week. Can't wait for 4-9!!

I'm putting the link for the questionairres, if it doesn't work just go to our main discussion board and click view all discussions. You'll find the direct link there.
