Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My son leaves on July 14th and I am very proud of him in so many ways, but I am sad as well. I was told I would never have children and after 13 years of giving up, along came my baby boy, and now after 18 years he is leaving our home. I VERY much support his decision to be a part of the Navy and I am very encouraging, but I am still sad, it's really a kinda' crazy mixed up emotions. All in all, he will always be my son and I truly love him for what he is and what he will become in the Navy.

thanks to all of you for the words of encouragement,so nice to know we're not in this alone,I actually think my state of mind now is...let's get this over with(the leaving part),I guess a good thing I have going for me is he is leaving the same day my 9 yr. old goes back to school,so between that and work,I will be busy...

Dallas shipped out on July 14th, it was a very very hard day for me and I wanted to go back one last time just to say "goodbye, I love you", but I had already said that a thousand times. He knows I love him and he knows I am proud of him, but he also knows his mom is a crier. Each day is getting better, but what I think helps is my daughter and I are keeping a daily journal for him of everything that went on that day and how we are feeling. All I know is my son is a part of the greatest Navy in the world.

Try Live at Choice dot com website. She is awesome for support and workshops are great. I have done her Beyond Circumstances and Unpainted Picture. My son left today for Bootcamp.. Though I am sad, I am glad he chose to go. He has so many oppurtunites ahead. I will see him in 60 days and am looking forward to it. I will miss him and yes I have cried for two days off and on now but we will both be okay.
