Hi guys here's some facts for you all.  I have spoken to a navy commander as well as my husband this past week.

- Graduation is May 26th.  Please fly/drive in on the 25th because you get on base as early as 7am the day of graduation.

- Ship 11 Division 183 is my husband's group and he said everybody was doing great and he personally was having fun.  Nobody was getting into trouble and he had been promoted to Master at Arms Assistant.  (which I think is a good thing...)

Only reason I received a second phone call already was because he was missing a piece of paperwork!  And to top it off they want me to fax it to them but at midnight nobody was up that knew the fax number so he has to call back in a few days.

Hi Wapadi, so good to hear. Thank you and bless you for sharing that information. I'm so glad your husband is doing so well and enjoying the experience. You must of been so relieved to hear that.  We will be driving Tuesday night to arrive Wednesday morning. I can't wait. Graduation is around the corner Now we have to plan what we are going to wear.

In my letters my boy friend said that he is doing well! He told me the RDC's are actually pretty nice but there are some guys that are fooling around so in my sailors words "We've been fucking with them (the RDC's) so we are fucked!" My sailor told me that there are also some great guys in his group and he has made some friends (not to hard for my guy, he is a social butterfly. sometimes i think he would talk to the wall) They have gone through medical and dental. They got a bunch of shots and got some blood drawn. One of the other sailors passed out :(. They are getting up pretty early every morning and have almost no time to shave, shower and brush there teeth. That is the hardest part for my man. He takes longer in the bathroom then i do lol. Another bit of good news. My man made EPO, Educational Petty Officer. I am so proud of him!

And lisa im not sure that they have alot of time. My man is writting at night, in some of the letters the writting gets funny looking to the point that you cant even read it because he had dozed off. So im not sure if he is supposed to be writing but he does!

Cait, you have to save those letters, because that is so cute when you say "in some of the letters the writing gets funny looking to the point that you cant even read it" He is so thoughtful and romantic to write to you even when he is so tired. I guess their will always be some guys fooling around, especially when you put a bunch of hormone teenagers together, can you imagine. When my son is home with his friends and his brother all night long I hear them laughing and fooling around. I miss that so much now but when you are trying to sleep it's not funny.  Thats the way life is you appreciate things more when you don't have what you used to.  I'm a very worried now about the recruit who passed out I hope he is better.  My son is a bad eater very picky and I wonder if it was him because of not eating.  Oh well if it is him,he better adjust and eat what is available.  I tell him to do the best he can but if he doesn't make it not to worry their are a thousand other things he can do in life.  Sometimes people get devastated especially teenagers when things don't work out like planned.  I think my son will make it he is a trooper, has more energy then 4 people together. What ever God wants goes. Thanks so much and keep posting being you got a guy who keeps you informed.

Trust me, i am keep every letter, even the envelopes! I want to be able to look back and say "wow we made it through all of this time apart, we can make it through anything now" The reason the boy passed out wasnt because of not eating, it was because he had gotten 6 vials of blood drawn! (i would have passed out no doubt!) but my man said that SR is fine. They gave him some stuff to wake him up and he was good as new! I will keep posting, when ever i get a new letter i will let you ladies know!
Cait, that soinds like my son, he always hated the site of blood, did he give a name? Lol
nope he didnt give a name but i probably would have passed out too! I HATE blood!
I understand :) but it doesn't bother me, that was once a job of mine (phleotomist) lol
Thank you Cait, please do!  I don't think I'll EVER get a letter!  Since my son is from the keyboard generation, I fear I'll have to live through YOUR letters, so ...keep'em coming our way!
I bet you will be getting a letter any day now!
: )

Got 6 more letters today! So lets see what i can fill you in on....

-The 13th was there first real day of boot camp

-They have a big test today so everyone keep your fingers crossed for you SR. If they do well enough they get a phone call home!

-The days are going by pretty quick for them. They are doing lots of stuff and keeping busy

-The food is GREAT (my SR even put it in caps like i did)

-Sundays are the best days for them, they get about 7 hours of free time.

OH and any of your SR's named Myles? My SR told me that he is the best at shining boots! He is going to help my SR.

My SR has changed sooo much already, he seems more mature. Is any one else noticing that?

Hope this helps keep every one in the loop! and if anyone else gets some more info please share it!
