Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 159 and 160

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Any new news on 159?

My son is Ship 13/Div 159- I got a letter today from my son and he sounds so much better!!! He said they got four flags in one day and that they really pulled together as a team!!! Praise God! He also told me he has two medals one for shooting and he forgot to write what the other was for-LOL He actually wrote three pages. Mostly about going to church and feeling excited about PIR!!! I love Thursdays!!!!

That's great Mary...thanks for getting back to me.  This is what my SR wrote me:

In his letter this week he said they finished Hell Week and are into the final tests. They did the gas chamber on Wednesday and had their personal/dynamic material inspection yesterday. Their final PFA is today. They have academic test #3 on the 15th and the FEP Drill Inspection on the 17th. They are doing okay but still having a bit of trouble with teamwork. I am confident that they will pull together and get through Battlestation 21! He said that if they do well on all the inspections and tests that they will be rewarded with Recruit Heaven...which includes TV, Facebook, phone calls, video games, Taco Bell, KFC, Subway and Pizza Hut. He said he doesn't have his hopes up for it...but it would be awesome! Their division has earned several flags...these are the ones they have so far: divisional, PFC, Guide On, Drill, Marksman, Athletic and Scholastic. They have done their live fire...he got sharpshooter...and did the PFA weigh in on Wednesday...he says he'll let me know if he gained any weight!

My son is the RPO so he spends a lot of time in church! lol  PM me with you and your sons last name!

Happy Monday :)

My SR was able to call me for 28 seconds last night to wish me a happy birthday! I hope these next 10 days fly by and it feels so nice to actually finally be able to say I'll see him next week. 10 more days yay!!!

what division is he in? i missed a call from my husband last night. i have been so worried as to why he was calling because the last letter that i received he said he couldn't call before the 19th.

159 it was at 10:02 (GA time) but he said they just let him call to wish me a happy birthday and that was it. He sounded sick and I tried to ask him if he was okay and he said he would talk to me after battle stations.

mine came at 7:04 i picked up the phone right as it stopped ringing. I hope it wasn't a I'm sick or hurt call. He has passed all of his tests with no problems so far so i don't think it was that.

Hopefully its nothing bad but battle stations are soon so you should be getting another call, dont let it worry you too much or you will go crazy!

That is so awesome!  congratulations!  You must be so proud!

Great news!! Congrats :)

Does anyone know if its ok to send a check to my SR to write for his pics? Thanks:)
