Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 217 and 218

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Must be my son...he's very handsome (if I must say so myself!) and quite a charmer!

I would also have to say my son is very handsome as well, plus he's a big flirt.

Hi Mary, My son is in the brother division to you SR. Ship 12, Division 218. Welcome to our group!
Happy Mother's Day! I wish my son could have called today, but am telling myself that calendars are not allowed so my son has no idea today is Mother's Day. And as I told him before he left, boot camp is about training us moms too! lol
Happy Mother's Day to all
Suzyqnj that's cute my husband and I were talking about one day she might meet her husband in the navy and then she wouldn't want to come home told him not to say that lol

In my sons last letter he wrote about his "brothers (and sisiters)" in his division. "The guys here are great, we help each other out and everyone is part of the team" Something you should know is that my son is not one to throw out compliments. He is loyal to his friends and family. Thank you to all of you for raising such awsome children. You have done a great job and it shows!! :0)

What a nice post aileen3mc :)
I'm getting so anxious for June 7 anybody else my tummy is a ball of nerves the closer it gets I don't know how to stop worrying and relax

SuzyQ, Thanks for the update. I imagine that means my boy will fly out then too. My son doesn't write much in his letters, so I appreciate you thinking of me!

Has anyone gotten the date for battle stations for division 217/218 yet I have not if anyone can private message me if you hear or know that would be great I'm driving myself crazy to know something.:)

Hi All,

Just working my way around to the different forums.  My son is in div 217.  I'm anxiously awaiting that call we are suppose to get at the end of BS.  Anyone know when that might be.  He has only given me bits of information in his letters.  Also is anyone going to the meet and greet with Sarge on 6-6?
