My son is in it. I got a letter today says they will graduate about 80 in this division:) We only feel like we are alone. Are you goint to PIR? We get in Wednesday afternoon; flying from Denver (actually from WY) Have a great day. mommajo
Yeah I am going to PIR... Jordan's grandma and I are going together and his mom and step dad and siblings will meet us up there...We are getting there the 30th also.. Where are you staying at?? We're staying at the comfort inn..We're driving up..We live in Ohio so it'll be an 8 hour drive for us.. I have received like 25 letters from him so far=]... He passed his PFA Monday... Failed it the 1st time=[.. Has your son told you that his division has had a rough time?? They have alot of bad ones in it I guess... They get ITE'd a lot=[ I hope your son is doing well and I look forward to meeting you!!
No you not alone :) my son Sean in in the group.. The four of us are coming from California.. my family and his girl friend.. Looking forward to seeing him.. She gets lots of letters.. we get a few.. Booo Hooo HA I guess we are no longer his priority!!! smile I bet everyone is getting excited.. all of us going.. and our recruits..... Soon they will be able to call themselves Navy Sailors... after battle stations.. Have a great weekend.. Hang in there with being separated from your BF.. It's never easy.. But be strong girl!!
I am doing well considering... He writes me soo much so that definitely helps.. I get mail 2-3 times a week.. That makes is a lot easier.. I will be at PIR so hopefully I see you!! My bf has come such a long way since he got there.. He has told me his Division has had a lot of problems.. A lot of people are too immature to be there.. He said they are getting better though... I wonder if your son and my bf know each other.. There isn't many he talks to but hopefully they do=]
My son did say they have some recruits that just don't get it and they have a lot of IT. We are staying at the Residence Inn in Wa...? about 10 minutes from RTC. Jeff will be flying out on Friday so we get to spend time with him after PIR and at the airport Friday. We've gotten about 13 letters but I know his granparents, sisters, and several girls have received letters. He doesn't have a GF but a group of "kids" he hangs out with. 17 days:) Have great ones. mommaju
Jordan said that too.. Said his chief is starting to weed out the bad ones.. So your son is a grad n go?? I don't know if Jordan is but even if he is we will get the weekend with him because his Aschool is in GL.. Thank goodness for that.. If he does go over and sign into his school he will most likely be granted overnight Liberty.. Jordan tries to write me everyday.. He write the rest of the family time permitting.. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and getting my bf back in my arms!!! This will be one of the best days of my life!!! 17 days doesn't seem so long when we look at how far we've come!!
Ok, I've been reading this for awhile, and decided maybe I should join, just so you know I'm out here, too. We drive in from Kansas on Wednesday. Our son is div 227. TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!
Thanks so much for joining!!! Its nice to know you are out there,, My bf is in the Div.. I'm from Ohio..His Grandma and I are driving up together and meeting the rest of his fam up there... Are you going to the meet and greet at the ramada??
We'll be arriving about the time it's going on. It depends on if we run on time. Do they need to know ahead of time? We actually have reservations at two hotels. One closer to base, but with iffy reviews online. The other has better reviews, but doesn't have a shuttle. As soon as I can decide which risk to take, we'll cancel one
Hello millerlite~ More people from the 227th :) I had a 15 minute phone call on Tuesday and was so happy to be not working. My son's concern was no Father's Day cards...only a letter on official Navy stationary. Told him that would be great! Time will fly! Read about identifying each other at PIR over at PIR 7/1/10. Good night
