Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Just received letter today dated the 22nd thrilled hes doing ok, can receive letters monday thru FridayHad wisdom tooth pulled,though says no pain and no swelling sounds like allot of the recruits are gettting dental care. I understand they had major knowledge exam last monday ,they're getting their dress whites and Blue uniforms this week so more ironing experience!!! I'm trying to find out if any mothers have ordered ribbon pins for PIR for ship 13 Div 321?If so how can I order one?
Hello AuxLady....like i said earlier....boy howdy on that "wisdom tooth business" going on at BC! glad you posted that you recruit is doing ok with it all. ribbons....i think you'll find LaLa Ribbon Queen's posting about the ribbons on page 5 of the PIR 9-24-10 group.
Thanks Connie still @ country Library Trying to follow Chat appreciate your reply for some reason cant seem to get into lala ribbon info . Sounds like recriuts are definitly busy I just give him allot of encouiragewment & remind him re sunday services for inspiration. How bout meet & greet heard anything ? We have an 11 hr drive from PA but would like to attend if one going on.
Hi Connie first time on my son in Div 321 Ship 13 . see my other post sounds like their very busy .Foods good My son passed his bed and uniform inspection . Their only allowed to write on Sunday mornings., so keep writing . I'm having my grandsons small class send cards and my grandaughter is sending colored crayon pictures. I m rural carrier and deliver 100s
of pieces of mail now know how those parents I deliver to feel when I get one from him!!I I'm trying to find out about ribbon pins to recognise our Ship & division so if some one can reseach that I'd appreciate it since work out of town & have to use library computer where I m staying on Tuesday & Thursdays on limited time til I go home on Sat. nite. If you havent made Hotel reservation yet try Naval Lodge suppose to be clean decent price $65 close to base

already have hotel reservations. flying in from Tennessee but had considered driving.

not even sure if we can get there in time for the Meet N Greet :( we will be rush rush rush to get back home to take care of my elderly mother and our daughter who is 'special needs'.

Hi not able to get on line much has your rc having trouble getting mail? .He's rec'd some ,but not the amt that he should of got. Did you hear if they had hell week yet?
Sorry dont have Pc acess during week hope our SR doing ok. Last I heard of mine doing ok had cold but better,not getting mail,but understand was messed up @ start of BC hope all my letters have caught up with him.Wonder how many more of us from PA? We're driving up 23rd 11hrs son maybe grad & go so wont have too much time with him since he'll need some alone time with his wife whos expecting first child in Feb not too much stress!!
Good evening Ladies my name is Vicki my son Jonathan is in ship 13 div 321, this is all so new to me, I got a call from him last sunday and we got to talk for about 15 minutes but we had bad reception. So far I have received 4 letters from him. In just these past few weeks I already notice a change in his personality. I was having a real hard time with him being gone but since I go talk to him I feel better. He graduated from high school in June and already going to grad from boot camp, my 18 year old grew up quick.....
