Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hi I am Cathie my SR is on Ship 9 Div 165, I think you already now that.I really need a phone call missing him much!

Hi Cathie i havent gotten a call yet either :(  maybe this week i really miss my girl she sounded so tired in her letters i am hoping to get another letter too but i still write her even if i dont i told her that if it was between resting and writing me i would rather her rest.i just hope she is doing good and learning what she needs to start this new career. well i look forward to seeing you 6/1/12 man will i be glad when it gets here :)

Hi Cathie & Teresa. We have not received our phone call either. I am going with the no news is good news. The recruits are kept so busy between studying, watch, duties, sleeping and dinner times....they are quite busy. I have my cell phone glued to my body. They have already completed three weeks. Best to you and your families.

I am so hoping for something this week . . . no letter for me last week. 

well still no phone call here either but i am hoping i wont miss it i cant carry my phone where i work soooo. maybe she will call this weekend :)  i am very sorry scratter you havent gotten a letter dont let it get you down,  please it will come soon.

 i know that my girl told me it would be 3 weeks before she could call so maybe we will all get one this weekend.i know they are super busy my younger daughter has made a countdown calender and calls out the number of days left ever morning it is really is passing by, soon we will be watching our young men and women graduating i am so excited for my child hang in there it wont be long now.. its kinda funny we waited on this children for 9months i guess 8 weeks isnt so bad LOL love hearing from all of you and hope to meet you at graduation.NAVY PROUD MOMMA :)

hey Quick update just got 3 letters woo hoo  check your mail boxes !!!!

I just received my phone call,sounds good, had wisdom teeth pulled,wasn't feeling good over the weekend,be ready mom's,MY SR called on the house phone & missed the call my daughter was having a problem cause of new phones I was     in tears cause you don't get another, but then my cell phone rang thank you God! They will start calling,God Bless & have a great week.

Husband got the call earlier today.  He said he sounds good.  Thanks goodness for some communication from our boy, thought maybe he had fallen off the planet :)

congrats! I still have not heard from mine, but it is good to know others are feeling the same way!!  Hope mine is soooon!!

Ship 9 Div 165 :  I just found out my son's address today, from his recruiter.  I havent gotten anything - call/letter yet!!! But I did send out a bunch of letters and stationary and stuff today....it made me feel a little better anyway!  :( 

My heart is a flutter.....seeing that some of you got calls, I checked my phone and I DIDNT HAVE SIGNAL....DANG METAL BUILDING WHERE I WORK!!!  ARRGGGGHHHH   I would be soooo upset to find out he tried to call and I didnt even get the missed call!

Of course, I guess maybe it is better to not know than to cry when I miss it!!
