Click on OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and the Page will open in a new window. Read the Page and follow the directions at the bottom to make change 3 (see the words in bold) to change "Anyone" to "Members" so that this page is no longer visible to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web. Don’t forget to click the “Save” button at the bottom.

There may be other changes you need to make as well (change 4???), so read and consider each of the changes.

Since you have a Sailor, you can change "At Boot Camp now" above to “Enlisted.”

If you get an error message, then look at the area/s in the error message and unclick all of the choices in the area/s and make choices closer to the question/s. Some choices may have changed since you joined.

Paul - you don't seem to be online and I have to scoot, but re: terminals. If you can find out the flight number and the airline that your son will fly on then you should be able to Google which terminal. That is what my husband did, I think. Check for the USO that is outside of the security, we all meet in the area below there, I think the morning my son flew out and the USO volunteer took the sailors to the various terminals. Only your sailor can give you his flight info and they may not know it until PIR. My son didn't even have his orders until after PIR.

They will most likely go Mon or Tues night.  It depends on if they start next week's on Sunday night or Monday night (I'm thinking they will start back Sunday night).  Your division should go the 3rd night of them.

Hi Paul it is me Phoenixmom (Sylvia) I wanted to ask you what were the names of the POA'S that I am needing, would I be able to get these forms anywhere? I appreciate you with this information so I am trying to get it done ASAP because my son will be transferring to another Station and will have sea duty. And I just spoke to his Recruiter and he mentioned that there was no reason for POA'S and that is why they don't have them do it. Go Figure. Thank You Paul.

Paul - I know you will be following the comments on your groups, but since the graduation schedule was posted on BC Mom again, I think that it is very possible they opened up the doors to the Great Hall early, especially if it was very cold outside, would be my first guess. There is a large holding area inside so people can stand and wait until they actually file you through, so that could be why ssmyheart said the sections were full at 0645. Also, if it is a very large TG, as I commented,  they might open the doors early because they know they need to. Our PIR was late Aug, so we did not have any issues with the temps, in fact it was a little cool for my tastes waiting outside most of the afternoon for our son. That scenario with the delay in  his orders is why I was glad that we had actually driven to RTC and parked in the garage on site.

Since your recruit has a contract for the Nuclear Field, you may want to check out https://www.facebook.com/Naval-Support-Activity-Charleston-SC-1549626935313525/.

The Rating Information Card for NF can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/enlisted/rating_info_cards/nukepower.pdf. (If you get the security warning, it is safe to go there.)

Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. Plan to leave late Saturday or on Sunday. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Your Sailor may have Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY; if so, join Moms/Dads/Families with Nukes in Ballston Spa, NYat that time. Some stay in Charleston.
