For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I got in touch with the group rate guy at Moody Garden's (former Navy helicopter pilot in Vietnam). Another contract to sign!! AARRGH!!
I just signed to give Moody Garden's $420!!!!
We HAVE to have 20 people show up who want to do 4 attractions for $21 total.
PLEASE BRING CASH - I have to give him one envelope with ALL the money in it - no credit or debit cards allowed!!!

We are headed to Galveston on Saturday. Thinking about meeting at a place right off the highway (from Houston) in Galveston called "The Diner". You can eat breakfast or drink coffee. Then, headed as a group to Moody Gardens - to get a group discount we have to enter together.!!
Bring all your friends and family - especially to Galvestion!! Only people who have RSVP's will get a name tag!!!

Lodging--Rick and I are staying in Galveston on Saturday night--he has hilton points that we used to stay there when I thought everyone was staying with Nicole. We aren't staying on Saturday night for the night. I really need to be home on Sunday to get ready for Monday work as we were gone all last weekend to Pensacola to see our son. (It was great btw, news to share!)

Brenda, Don't do the group thing. It's risky if folks just don't show up. We can do that next time when we have the numbers and a history of who is showing. I'm not implying any of our folks would intentionally do that to you, but things happen and I've planned enough events to know best laid plans don't always work. If you can change it I would. However, if you are going to go through with it I will gladly tell you that Rick and I will be there, so you can count on 2 for us for sure.

I wouldn't reserve mine until I heard from you CCR and Brandon's mom. Are you two sharing a room together? Brenda, Kimberly and I are together. The only other person that I know of that needs a room is you two. I was looking at comfort Inn in seabrook but I haven't confirmed
