Celebrating Cory's birthday tonight.....can't wait for hime to open that computer!!!
Can't wait to see you Saturday.....we have some catching up to do!
I'm dropping in once in a while, still studying for my last exam to get my license, and working full time, plus the internship.
Can you believe it has been over one year since our nice cruise on the Bay?
We are still slowwwwly remodeling the downstairs, and planning to retire in four years (hopefully).
Nathan has ben traveling on the GW, and they are scheduled to arrive back in Japan soon. He is now saying that he may stay on, if he can be granted a shore duty in Italy or Portugal, because the only thing he DEFINITELY likes about traveling on that ship is when they arrive in new cities around the world.
We don't know if he is coming home for Christmas. We haven't seen him since August 2008.
Like you say, Giant HUGS!!!!
I plan to be in Tucson next Saturday......I was thinking that Staci and I could pick you up on our way in and then drop you off on our way back out. Would that workfor you?
Got a text from Cory....he's in the hospital. His fever hit 105 and someone decided he needed to go to ER because tylenol wasn't bringing it down. Good move on that "someones" past! I'm not worried...it's what's going around....He's still well enough to breath and text!!!
Be sure to tell Bryan to stay away from sick people...wash his hand every chance he gets and to not shake hands with anyone!!!
Got a text from him this morning...he has a temp. of 103! Guess the flu has hit Little Creek.
He's disappointed in being released from the GM position with the Seals. But, let's face it.....it was going to be temporary....after all, he's NOT a Seal! Just hard to step down from a position like that into ordinary Navy life. He'll adjust! He's still talking about EOD, but since he's just rated into GM this year it will be a while before he can apply for it.
Staci and I are talking about coming to Tucson on the 14th for the DEP picnic....are you going to be there?
Happy Halloween!!!!
Work has been a pain. Lots of staff out with flu symptoms. Once they start we make them take 7 days off, so we've had lots of shifts working short....nothing like an overworked nurse in a bad mood, boy they can be nasty to deal with!!!
Nothing new in my neck of the woods. Stopped in and saw Cory's recruiter (Alan) for a few minutes yesterday. I was hitting the recruiting offices of all branches collecting service pins. We're giving them out to our patients who are vets on Nov. 11th. Not a bad deal...we look good for remembering....and I get the pins for free!!! I like how that works. Stay in touch and let me know when you have any news from Bryan. Say hello to Eric and Bruce for me.
