Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Event Description

I got in touch with the group rate guy at Moody Garden's (former Navy helicopter pilot in Vietnam). Another contract to sign!! AARRGH!!

I just signed to give Moody Garden's $420!!!!
We HAVE to have 20 people show up who want to do 4 attractions for $21 total.

PLEASE BRING CASH - I have to give him one envelope with ALL the money in it - no credit or debit cards allowed!!!

We are headed to Galveston on Saturday. Thinking about meeting at a place right off the highway (from Houston) in Galveston called "The Diner". You can eat breakfast or drink coffee. Then, headed as a group to Moody Gardens - to get a group discount we have to enter together.!!

Hi, Glad too be part of Navy For Moms, I'm not sure if i can make it or not, due too the fact that, my son is on the USS Kitty Hawk
and they were suppose to cross deck with the USS George Washington, in Pearl Harbor Hawaii, but their was a delay, due too the George Washington catching on fire. everyone was okay, minor injuries, was reported, so their were lot's of change's
now the G.W. is in San. Deigo Cal. getting repaired, and
the Kitty Hawk is in Guam, waiting on word from the G.W.
my son e-mailed me, and said that the kitty hawk might be in hawaii june 29, but it's not a solid date, so i'm stuck, with a round
trip non-refundable airfare ticket, and everytime i rebook it's an 150.00 rebooking penality fee, they also told me i needed too rebook my flite 7 to14 or 22 day's ahead of time, so i'm really stressing out, i havn't seen my son in 2 year's, so i sure hope
that the kitty hawk gose too hawaii, and not go somewhere else, that's if the G.W. need extensive repair's .so if anyone can give me some solid answer's , i sure could use the help. i'm ready too see my sailor, can't wait too give him a big motherly hugg and kiss. ( - :

Ok, so I'm new to this.....Is it just mom's coming or are dad's invited too? If there will be dad's and/or siblings there, I may need to up my # for rsvp. Although I'm fine with just mom's too.

I can make it Friday night, but don't think I can make it Saturday. I will bring another Navy Mom, although she hasn't joined this site yet. Our boys left May 12, so by the time this rolls around hopefully we'll have dried up our tears!

WEll, since Nicole is being so generous, I believe I will be able to attend. I just need to find someone to take care of the horses, shouldn't be a problem just for 3 days. 5 days in Chicago was a hardship- one of the colts had to be seperated, so he has to be attended to.
