Bravo Zulu to your boy, rebarringon..and rest assured, he's very busy, (frustrated at times & annoyed at times....) but all in all, sleeps great, eating good food (although rather "quickly")  and is forming some friendships, and learning so much about himself. Boot will be a distant memory before too long ....but Oh what a proud young man he will be at PIR ceremony!  And proud Mama too!  :-)   Navy On!!

When we light our "Blue Candle" it is not only for my son but for all the "Son's and Daughters" in the Navy. "Good Vibrations and Prayers" going out every day.

I would like to light a candle for my son Logan who is in Boot. He has been there for two weeks and a day. I am missing him so much, I Pray everything is going good for him and hope to hear from him soon. Thanks

GennyMac, you are welcome.

When I light my candle, wax or electric, our prayers go out to all the men and women in the Navy. When they are through with their duties, we just want them all to come back to us.

I saw that one too and saw your post, so looked for an LED bulb.  I will go ahead and order these, and if they work will post the results here for anyone else who might be looking for one as well.

Thanks so much for the post !

GennyMac, Looks good. The only to find out how they work is to buy one. The one I got was so dim that during the day you could not tell if it was on. The winner for me are actual wax candles or a single Christmas candle, that one is the brightest.

Baker - I am so sorry.  Here is the link http://www.batteryoperatedcandles.net/tea-light-blue-p-glass-votive...  and here is the picture.
