Welcome all New NavyMoms! Glad you are all finding this a comforting thought while your sailors are serving our country and making us so proud. NM*II: I buy my candles at general stores, and even find great deals in thrift or second-hand stores too BUT... "Jeramy's Mom" has the connection to a website that sells blue-US NAVY candles with insignias-very nice. It's called: scented with love I think? Just Go to page # 2, you'll see some discussion about it and a link i think?
Help...where are you getting your blue candles!!!! I would like to get one soooon since my RC will be leaving for BC soon <3
This is the day we say Good Bye to my Sailor for Boot Camp. We will for sure light that candle! Thanks.
Love the Idea.... Thanks
I just found this great site but I will turn on a blue candle for my sailor whom I miss and the rest of the USS Cape St. George. :)
i will definitely do this...a good way to feel connected with all that are serving and all the family members here as well :)
I did the Blue candle last night, praying that Chrissy and her shipmates will come home safe.
Hi Jeramys Mom!!! Reality is setting in, this morning his stomach was bothering him.. I said nerves..he said nope, nothing to be nervous about.. Right!!! Us moms know these things...LOL
Hi proudmom. I asked my daughter and she said you can order from the Facebook page, or you can call.
Also I read your post and wanted you to know that my son leaves on April 10th and is cool cucumber too, and Im a crying mess, nervous and not looking forward to his leave date. It is totally not fair how a mothers emotions can conflict so dramatically. But Im still proud of my SR. :-)
