Event Description

This is a Meet and Greet for families of recruits with a Pass-In-Review date of Thursday, May 27, 2010.

The Meet and Greet is sponsored by the Ramada Waukegan-Gurnee as a service to the families of recruits, and occurs on the evening prior to their graduation. Families of recruits in all divisions are welcome to attend, whether or not you're staying there.

The time is 6:00-8:00 PM, and free, hot hors d'oeuvres will be served. For guests registered at the Ramada, you will be given complimentary drink tickets, 2/room (not 2/guest). A cash bar will be available for non-registered attendees. The Ramada will also provide name tags, so we won’t be overly-taxed trying to remember the names of all our new friends!

If you are planning to attend, please RSVP and leave a comment below with the number you’ll have attending. We need to get an estimated head count to the Ramada by Tuesday, May 25th.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Any sign on Ann? Lori, do you want to list the colors available. What is your prefernce. Also are you flying or driving?

Jill- I'm dancing right along with you! i got a letter today! And it's at the point it's just not that far away. Almost like when you were expecting a baby to arrive and you knew there was a lot to do before hand but the excitement was just to great to get anything done! That's me right now!

Ok bryters- your vote is for white [ explain LOUD!] ? We will coordinate being there early and just have a corsage making party! So it's 6 colors? I thought there were 7 divs grad that day? Not sure about that one though.
Where is Ann? Ann you out there? I need your organizational skills here!

Yeah - I can't believe that we are finally here and talking about printing parking passes, hotels, itineraries, etc. So glad to have only 12 days before us....
I would love to help make them the flowers - just keep me posted. Right now I am danc'in to the countdown dance......and singing away. Our recruits almost there....sigh, life is good!. Enjoy your day!

I don't have a preference, one mom in Div 200 said white and one said Loud. LOL.
Maybe someone could break the tie, or draw straws for us. I think we need 6 colors though. We are driving in to have more flexability, so I can be wherever whenever.

Good morning to all- if my calculations are correct we can print out our 'passes' tomorrow! It will be 11 days! WooHoo!
Jill- thanks for the offer, once we know who all is coming and get a 'head' count I'll have a good idea how many flowers to buy. It would be fun to get together and make them.
Thanks for posting your hotels.
byters- what are you thinking about colors?
Cast your votes one and all!
