Thanks for the welcome,Lori. We will be moving sometime after the 25th since we have to wait for our 2 presbyteries to work out the details of the change. The church plant is a great group of young adults and couples. I WILL let you know if I need help, I promise. Looking forward to meeting a Vinson mom.
Lori- We WILL definitely meet. In fact, my husband is starting a church in the area and we are just starting to look for housing to rent. I've checked Olney, but there's not much to rent there in our range, so Germantown and Gaithersburg it will probably be.
just noticed your friend request THANKS Its nice to havea Mom on the East coast.
Well, hi there! This is a test to see if you check your COMMENTS! What has happened to Betsy? I know A was home and her daughter too...but I think that was a while ago. She hasn't been on the PIR groups. Has she been posting on the Maryland group? Ok, my friend, we shall see if you find this! :-)
Lori, This is Elaine from the Vinson moms. I am moving to Maryland in October. My mom is ill and I will be taking care of her. I am also joining the Maryland Moms site. We will be in Glen Burnie by the end of the first week in October. Can't wait to make some time to see one of my favorite Vinson moms again.
Thank you Lori!!!!!
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii ! :-)
Hi Lori,, its Renie
Thanks for sending me a message. I just got back from L A as Wilson and I drove down to visit a mom that I meet in GL at our boys graduation on 1-7-11. I really connected with her and her husband got along with Wilson so we hung out the weekend in GL.
She has two boys that went into the navy . One graduated 12-17-10 and the other sailor was with my step son. I just met the other son as he got to come home to L A for his leave as he just got his orders for his C school which is in Italy.. The other sailor is going to VA and mine is in GL still.
I had so much fun with this mom as I felt we have known each other for so long. We just got home tonight around 9:30pm. It was a 5 1/2 hour drive but worth every mile.
I missed our sailors call again this weekend but its nice to know he has called.
I am so tired so I will hope you write back as I am not to familiar with the FC rating and how this all works. He doesnt really share a whole lot about what a MOM would want to know.
Take care and good night
Renie
I asked my son to ask your son if his mom's nam is Lori. I really think these are the same two "kids". Ask your son if his friend's an Okie. When was his PIR?
We have friends who live in Linthicum (spelling?) Is that anywhere near you?
David said that he'd call again tomorrow if he has any other news.
