I would really like to come, but I'm driving from KC and not sure what time I'll be arriving in Great Lakes. I will also have my husband's mom and sister and my sister with me. I will try to make it. It'll be nice to meet everyone, especially 2/935 moms and wives.

Hello Ladies! We were wondering where the rest of 07/230 peeps were! There are 4 of us moms that chat on facebook on the Recruit Training Command wall ALL the time and would luv for yall to join us! We have been chatting and sharing our son's info to find out what all they've accomplished! It's been amazing! PLEASE pop on there and find us so we can become "friends" and share more 07/230 info! They post random pictures and also have a "Trivia Tuesday" where the winner gets a picture posted of their Division! So give us a holler!!!! I wish I had been following this website more throughout the weeks. I really could've used the support from others going through the same thing.  My son is on Ship 7 Div 229. I couldn't be more proud of him. My husband, two other sons and myself will be at the mixer on the 14th. I've been on edge waiting for the phone call that he made it through Battle Stations 21. Anyone else hear anything as to when that will happen? Hope to see you all there.

Christy -- I am flying up on the 14th with my other two sons and my sister.  We are staying at the Ramada.  Looking forward to the trip.  Steven was in the band in high school - percussion.  He hasn't played in two years.  Got a letter from him yesterday, he is looking forward to graduating!  He is a young man of few words -- I asked him to give me a few more details of what is happening after reading all of the comments here.  If he is playing an instrument I would guess bass drum.

Saw Christy's note - my SR is Ship 2 Div 935.  Got a short note from him and he is looking forward to the 15th.  His brother and I will be flying in from Texas, another brother from Louisiana and an aunt from DC.  We are excited about seeing all the successful young men and women and spending time with him.  Hope to meet some of you.
