FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Event Description

A chance for all the moms/Dads, wives/husbands, girl/boyfriends, family and friends of sailors graduating 6/3/11 to finally put a face to the screen name.

 

Come share some pictures and stories in person. Please RSVP so we know how many people are coming. Hope to see you there!

 

You don't need to be a guest of the Ramada to attend this event, it's open to everyone!

Ok I'm just leaving a note here for myself so I know up to which RSVP. I sent in just in case more come in! So far 81 of us and our families will be there! Remember on your name tag to put down ur screen name and DIV as well as your real name, so we can eachother!!!

mmiles......great idea on the name tags!! It will be so much fun to put a face to the screen names we know!! I'm not sure how many in my group will be attending, but definitely 2....could be up to 6, but don't know yet.
