OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

Hi Patty!  Our page actually no longer exists in our world, we're now on facebook since everyone is able to read the string from their phones, pda's etc.  I've asked a few times to delete our page to no avail.  I hope all is well, look me up on fb!  Robin

Hi Patty, I am sorry I was not able to meet everyone at the Meet and Greet. We didn't make it into town until after 10pm. Congratulations to you on your new sailor. A School will be so much nicer for all of us. I did get to meet Mmiles while dropping our men off at RTC so that was really nice. Please stay in touch and thank you for checking on us these last few months.

Good morning,
You are very welcome. The directions seem like a lot but they are pretty straight forward except the transfer. Tell them to ask someone right away at Ogilvie and they should be ok. Depending on the location you board the train, ticket prices range from $2.00 to $8.50 per person. So the max one way trip from Oak Lawn to GL is $17.00 per person on the train. All the cabs in the city are required to accept credit cards payments for fares but if they are taking a cab from the hotel to the Oak Lawn Metra, I would have cash for that. Good luck!
