My final numbers are:
mikesproudmom = 2 (arriving later)
terbeasch = 1
Brenda Kay = 2
TammySue = 3
Susan R = 3 or 4
MamaBear kk = 3

It is requested we bring cash to pay for our admission -since they wanted one form of payment and did not tell me until yesterday. They are working this out now and will return the call late morning. There was confusion as this was not expressed in any of the emails. I am bringing cash.

We are supposed to check in at the Prize Counter inside the game room.

If you have questions or concerns - please ask or send a private message. I will be checking this site after I return from the veterinary hospital (Our dog will not eat for them - but will for us).

I was sooo trying to prepay my tickets so that in case less than 10 showed up ours would count...oh well. I hope it all works out. I will look forward to seeing you there, but we won't get there much before 7:30ish

mikesproudmom ~ She told me that people could check in - but we would pay when everyone was there. I would have appreciated her responding with an email about the payment policy! Anyway she told me that it could be a combination of cash and credit cards. I will call them in the morning as the person I made the arrangements with will not be there tomorrow. She told me to call a specific extension and ask for the park manager. The "manager" that you talked to stated a different policy than the person I spoke with. I did tell her that we would not be arriving at the same time. So she was aware of that.

MamaBear - I called Swings & Things to see if I could pre-pay my tickets since Chuck and I won't be there until 7-7:30. They were not helpful at all. I spoke with a manager and he said they might be able to accommodate if some people pay cash, but if a credit card is used it has to be one credit card for everyone. I told him exactly what I thought of their crappy "group rate" and commented that they might as well not have one at all!! So sorry I can't be there at 6pm but I don't mind paying the higher rate if we have to. I would NEVER expect you to put everyone's tickets on your card no matter what - no explanation necessary. Shame on them for having a policy that is not at all customer friendly.

In any case, looking forward to seeing everyone there tomorrow night! Hope Norah Jones is hungy tonight :)

We are now down to about 12 people. Since we need 10 to get the reduced rate, are there any other doubts?

The park called me today to tell me that we need to pay at the same time. It was suggested by them that I pay on my credit card then collect from all. Unfortunately, this is not my plan right now, as I currently have a hefty ongoing medical bill. I hope you understand. In addition, I do not want to pre-pay and have the expense if someone does nto show.
Here is the plan so far:
The event starts at 6:00 PM.
You will be checking in at the Prize Counter inside the Game Room.
They will be taking our forms of payment when we all arrive.
If we do not have the 10 guests - we will be charged the higher rate.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you ~ Karen

Per the posts below...there was only one interested party (Brenda Kay) for a dinner pre-event. I guess we will just be meeting at Swings-N-Things. I did not get a response from the event coordinator for my last email - so I called and left a message. If I do not hear from her tomorrow morning, I will call her to make sure we are confirmed. My prior emails to her with tentative counts were acknowledged. : )~ kk
