OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

So excited to be going!!  My oldest son and I will be there to support my son.  I am so proud of him and his accomplishments, he worked hard to get there.  So looking forward to meeting everyone.

My husband and I and our son's brother (17 years old) will be here to meet everyone!  We are flying in from CALI on Spirit Airlines Aug. 2nd - Aug. 9th (cheapest to fly on Tuesdays).  We didn't know at the time that we couldn't get all weekend to spend with our son.  We found out he fly's out almost immediately to Charleston S. Carolina right after graduation.

I think that in addition to putting our names on the name tags that they provide us we should also put our screennames so that we can find the ones we are looking for! :o) Or at least ships/divisions. :o)
