Brenda Kay & Becky, Matt's Mom ~ Thank you for setting up your ride share. I will also email the two of you with the confirmed meeting place (as before) and the time we should leave from our ride share point. : ) ~ kk

To all ~ I had a bit of a set back. Friday, after work, I took my book, the dog, and a blanket out to the back yard. I was determined to have a break. It was beautiful; the sun, the chirping birds, the squirrels squawking because I was between them and the bird feeder (they are thieves!), the dog coming and going, and a good book. Then it happened! I felt something crawling in my hair. Gross! I knocked it out and squished it! I looked like a large teetsie fly full of my blood! Well, the next morning I had a knot on my forehead as if I hit my head, or a bad Botox treatment. It only hurt to the touch. I was having problems seeing my monitors at work. A coworker walked in and I told her I was having issues with my eyes. She said, "OMG!" and ran for a mirror. I said, "I look like one of the characters in Avatar!" She said, "I know!" She suggested I leave before my eyes totally closed. So I did. Nurseysis told me to take antihistamines. The swelling/reaction has lessened - so my vision is better. But I look like I just sparred with Rocky Marciano! I looked so pitiful on Saturday - so PaPa Bear bought me Chinese. Maybe it was just an excuse for him to have Chinese - LOL! So Saturday I was not able to read my email from the USS COD Submarine Shipkeep. I was able to watch the Kentucky Derby through the slits in my eyes! : ) ~ kk
